First and foremost – we hope this message finds you well. We care about you – as part of – our neighbor – our city – our state – our nation – and our Earth.
Today I want to take a minute to look at the little picture – one neighborhood in East Mesa. So much of the news we are drawn to on a daily basis will discuss how our national economy is and all about the national trends. In Parkwood Ranch we have 1,402 homes. Many of the families in these homes have concerns about their health, their employment, their savings, their investments and just when we will all reach the other side of this worldwide crisis. We wish we had those answers.
What we can say, what we can do is help ease fears or concern on this. Your housing value and the local housing market is active and moving albeit a bit slower than three months ago. As of this writing we have:
- Three homes Active waiting on a buyer
- One home UCB – has an accepted offer but will entertain a back-up offer
- Four homes Pending – has an accepted offer and both buyer and seller are expecting to complete the transaction
- Four homes that have SOLD in the past 15 days. Two weeks. Four homes. That is quite impressive given our current circumstance. Three of the four sold Over List price.
Local home values continue to hold and even with evidence of increase. It is not expected to have any significant drop by even the most brilliant of minds. This is a Health Crises. Not a Housing Crises.
